Assignments and Examinations:

Each course will have assignments that will account for 50% – 100% of the total marks of a course, depending on a course and on the plan of the lecturer.

SBS Swiss Business School reserves the right to vary the assessment scheme from time to time. Where any variation occurs, it will be notified in the Course Description and/or a relevant update prior to the start of the applicable course.

All examination questions are set by the lecturers and approved by SBS Swiss Business School. Grades awarded in accordance with the standardized grading system will be conveyed directly to the program participants.

Accreditation:

Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSc)

The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSc) at SBS Swiss Business School is a full-time program with 180 ECTS credits divided into three years of two semesters each. Classes are taught by qualified lecturers and take place on the SBS Swiss Business School campus in Kloten-Zurich. Students also participate in internships, company visits and field trips, forums and symposia, guest lectures and much more.

Course Curriculum

SBS Swiss Business School’s undergraduate curriculum is designed to give you the maximum degree of choice and flexibility, while also providing insights into all the major fields and functions of management. You will take business courses from many different disciplines and have the opportunity to concentrate in one or several specialization fields.

The final degree will be awarded by SBS Swiss Business School upon completion of the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration program.

Mode of study: full-time (3 years)

180 ECTS / (Level / EQF 6)

Successful completion of the Swiss Baccalaureate / High School Diploma / International Baccalaureate or equivalent
One year (100 %) of work experience in a commercial environment or required to complete Career Advancement Program
English Proficiency for non-native speakers
Successful completion of the admissions interview
SBS admissions exam (when applicable)
Applicants can transfer credits from a recognized higher education institution if for the course they have earned a grade ‘C’ or higher.

Master of Science in International Business

The SBS Swiss Business School Master of Science (MSc) in International Business is a full-time, two-year, 90-ECTS program, which provides an in-depth examination of global business issues ranging from economics to cross-cultural leadership. The language of instruction is English.

Course Curriculum

The SBS Swiss Business School’s MSc in International Business is divided into 2 parts: In the first year, students will complete the academic courses and studies over 4 terms of 11 weeks each. This period concludes with the submission and defense of a thesis in front of a panel jury. Students are encouraged to choose a business-related subject linked to their prospective career. This project is mentored by an SBS Swiss Business School approved supervisor or instructor. The second year of the program is for professional experience, this may take the form of an internship or employment in the workplace, either in Switzerland or abroad. The expected period of professional experience may be from 9 to 12 months. During this time, as a student you will have the opportunity to apply in the workplace, lessons learned in the classroom. This period culminates in a report, outlining your experiences and detailing the lessons learned during this time.

SBS Park is a brand new facility located in the center of Kloten- Zurich with great connections to the Airport and Zurich City. Our school is equipped with state-of-the-art classroom technology which can be found in each classroom, IT Lab, Auditorium and Library.
